YES I CAN
Feeling tired today, did I do too much yesterday, probably but that’s me!
I’m sat now looking at the clock as it moves to 10.30am, which means I need to move, but I’m thinking can I do this?
Although my energy levels are low, I know that I need to move to keep my lymphatic system moving.
Didn’t feel like it one bit, but knew I couldn’t not do it and as the sun was shining, went outside to stand on our terrace and look out into the garden.
Was inspired to move. Stood there and walked on the spot, arms and legs going for a minute!
Then wondered, could I garden for 5 minutes, so it was slippers off and crocs on and into the shed to get my secateurs. Cut back some foliage in two areas of the garden and it looks so much better and even moved the stuff to the bin as I usually leave it in the garden for my husband to move 🤣 and then made myself a flat white and am sitting in the garden in the sunshine.
Never imagined that even 5 minutes of gardening would have such a positive impact on me, but it has and I can see the difference in the garden too!
Happy Hormones ✔️😎❤️
It always has to be YES I CAN, not always easy but that has led to this unexpected chain of events and I’m sat outside in nature, the sun is shining and I can hear the birds singing.
Oh and have made contact with a lymphoedema massage therapist so just need sign off from my oncologist.
What has been your YES I CAN today?
What are the things that help you move forward in challenging times?
Would love to know what works for you?

Was a walk around the village today and I did it! I have had the lergy and have zero energy. Like you say the birds singing and being in nature brings good endorphins! Take care 💜🪴🪻🌱
